Executive Director

Kellen Wells-Mangold


Kellen Wells-Mangold assumed the role of Executive Director in June 2018. In addition to his duties with Chi Alpha Sigma, he works as the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance and Student-Athlete Services and Deputy Title IX officer at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. In addition to his work at the university, Wells-Mangold is actively involved in the community and serves on various local boards. A graduate of the University of Iowa and La Trobe University, Wells-Mangold resides in River Falls, WI with his wife and two children.

Assistant Director

BJ Pickard was named the Assistant Director in June 2019 bringing a focus to coordinating communications and assisting current chapters in their efforts to recognize their student-athletes. Pickard has served as the Assistant Commissioner of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) since 2017 and resides with his wife and daughter in River Falls, WI.

Outreach & Marketing Intern

Dakotah Poitra joined Chi Alpha Sigma in October 2020 as an intern to assist with membership outreach and marketing efforts. Poitra works as the Athletics Administration Graduate Assistant at North Central College. In addition to role at the college Poitra works with Her Next Play, a non-profit with the mission to develop the next generation of women leaders through sports. She is a 2019 graduate from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls where she was a volleyball student-athlete. Poitra was inducted into the Wisconsin Epsilon chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma in Spring 2019.
