Chi Alpha Sigma unveils website redesign

RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The National College Athlete Honor Society released its website redesign for Chi Alpha Sigma on Thursday.

The refresh of comes after several months of effort to make the organization’s online presence more accessible and easier to navigate for current and prospective chapters. The website is also now optimized for mobile devices.

“While our previous website served us well and helped double Chi Alpha Sigma membership over the past five years, this is a great opportunity to refresh our look and accessibility as we continue to invest in ways to enhance our membership experience,” Executive Director Kellen Wells-Mangold said.

The redesign focused heavily on ease of navigation to help advisors access important information more quickly, which included lowering the website’s load time on all devices. The refresh also incorporated navy blue as an official accent color of the organization.

Chi Alpha Sigma extends its thanks and appreciation to graphic designer Stephanie Anderson, who served as the creative mind behind the redesign. Anderson is a former softball student-athlete at Wartburg College, where she was inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame in 2022.

“We are extremely grateful to Stephanie for her time on this project,” Wells-Mangold said. “She worked hard to understand who we are as an organization and used her talents to create an outstanding final product that will be a huge service to our chapters around the country.”

Chi Alpha Sigma has celebrated more than 8,000 student-athletes annually over the last three years alone with induction into the National College Athlete Honor Society. The organization’s membership across all divisions of college athletics now surpasses 330 active chapters including 19 new or reactivated chapters in 2023-24.
